An Italian fashion and leather goods brand, Guccio Gucci is simply known as Gucci today. It was founded by Guccio Gucci in 1921 in Florence. A simple shop started by Guccio with three of his sons has expanded a lot along the years, until 1990 when the Gucci Fashion House Company was in trouble. It was then designer Tom Ford entered as the chief of ready-to-wear women’s clothing, later he was appointed the chief for the men’s clothing and shoe-lines too. Miu Miu is a known fashion brand of women’s accessories and clothing. It comes from the Prada fashion house. The company is headed by Miuccia Prada, whose nickname is used as the company’s main name. Started in 1993, Miu Miu is now known all over the world. Hailee Steinfeld was the first face of the brand, who was only 14 years old at the time but that lasted for a year or so. Whereas recently it has appointed a mature face, Guinevere van Seenus, an American model for the campaigns of the brand. Today Miu Miu stands as the ninth top women’s shoe brand.

The international high end shoe company, Stuart Weitzman is basically owned by the designer Stuart Weitzman. He was born in 1942; his father Seymour Weitzman started a shoe factory in 1950’s in the Haverhill Massachusetts by the name of ‘Seymour shoes’ where he first started designing shoes for his father. Stuart’s father died in 1965 and he and his brother took over the business. Later he sold the business to a company in Spain in 1972. Despite this, Stuart kept on designing shoes for the company and brought it back in 1994. His shoes are created of the materials uncommon for shoe making materials such as; cork, Vinyl, Lucite and 24-karat Gold. By providing number of shoes to the attendees of Oscars it now stands as number eighth on the list.

Brian Atwood’s shoes are well-known for their artistry and outstanding quality that they promise to provide. The French footwear designer Christian Louboutin is the second brand on our list. The signature of the brand, the bright red sole is known by every fan. The brand took the heels to a next level and made them even higher than ever before, whereas the women loved this design and will love for a further more time which will make the brand to stay for some time.

So the leading women shoe brand here, it is none other than… Jimmy Choo. The brand was propelled in the late 1980’s and since then has been making excellent shoes. The artistry and unique designs of the shoes have made it a winner with the likes; Hillary Swank, Cate Blanchet and Halle Berry, who wear them on the Oscars.
